A Southern Sojourn

The Journey resumes with a more leisurely pace as The World sails eastward from the Pacific Islands to spend a month immersed in the incomparably colorful wildlife, cuisines, and cultures of South America, including ports of call in the southern Caribbean.

This South American voyage begins in Ecuador, where the magnificent local wine, ceviche, and rainbow-colored cliffside neighborhoods of Guayaquil await. The World then sails to Panama City for unhurried days of cultural immersion, lagoon diving, and beachside relaxation before transiting through the Canal and into the Caribbean Sea.

The Ship then sails to Cartagena, Colombia, where Residents will explore the colonial and ancient architectural marvels, impressive museums, and vibrant nightlife. Sailing further East, The World will forge through the turquoise waters into the Islands of the Caribbean, making landings on Curaçao and Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles. In Barbados, divers will delight in the chance to explore the shipwreck around Bridgetown, before the Journey continues eastward, and across the Atlantic to Europe.
