The World’s 2025 Journey begins in the balmy sunshine of the United States’ west coast with a grand entrance sailing beneath San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, a spectacular arrival that brings Residents out on deck to take in the iconic views. Favorite stops along its famed coastline include Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Catalina Island and San Diego.

Then it’s off to Cabo San Lucas and views of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and encounters with exotic marine life in the coral reefs off the coast. It is also the entry point to the Sea of Cortez, the site of our first 2025 expedition. The area’s otherworldly beauty will present rare interactions with native species like sea turtles and whales, as well as glistening freshwater cenotes, cacti forests and stunning sunsets on some of the California Gulf’s most remote islands.
