Experience both the natural beauty and creative arts found here on Mahe, the largest island of the Seychelles.

Begin with a 30-minute drive to the Craft Village, where a selection of arts and crafts are displayed at a former plantation. Spend about an hour perusing the wares and exploring the old colonial buildings, including the one-time homes of the plantation owner and the workers.

Next, drive on to 200-year old La Plaine Ste Andre Plantation Estate. Be sure to visit the old stables, now home to La Marine Model Boat shop, where beautifully detailed ship models are made by hand. Pause at Jardin Du Roi for a look at the restored 18th-century spice garden, the air filled with the scents of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Enjoy a refreshing glass of fresh fruit juice during your stay.

Drive on to Pineapple Studio, where colourful T-shirts are silk screened by hand. Your excursion draws to a close with a scenic drive through quaint fishing villages and La Misere Mountain pass en route back to The World.
