Job Information

The Sous Chef is responsible to manage, motivate and train the culinary staff and provide Residents and Guests with the highest quality Western cuisine.

Candidates for this position must be familiar with cooking techniques for the following cuisines:

  • French
  • Italian
  • Mediterranean


  • Three years of experience in a 5 Star Luxury Hotel Restaurant and/or Cruise Line is preferred, such as Ritz, Seabourn, Silver Seas, Four Seasons, Regent
  • BA/BS 2-3 year Culinary degree or foreign equivalency and/or 3 years of culinary management experience
  • Advanced Certification in Sanitation and Public Health procedures
  • Must have the ability to work for a period of 6 months onboard followed by 2 months on vacation
