Responsible for production and quality control of written onboard-published communication, whilst adhering to Corporate Brand Standards. Through printed documents, the Graphic Designer / Assistant Editor will promote the overall image of the Program Department and all other onboard departments. Duties will include minor editing and writing, photo sourcing, and layout of documents in established templates. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

This position is intended to begin as temporary coverage and may transition to a permanent role onboard the vessel, if required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Maintains established deadlines provided by the Publications Manager
  • Minimum of one year experience in the layout and production of printed publications or print collateral
  • Previous editing and writing experience in a high-volume, multi-department atmosphere
  • Extremely proficient in Adobe InDesign, with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Secondary Education degree or equivalent is mandatory
